KENTUCKY REVISED STATUTES FOR SURVEYORS - 4 PDH -Course provides an overview of the Kentucky Revised Statutes that relate to land surveying.  Various facets of a licensed professional land surveyor's practice, his/her conduct and other important topics are covered.  Course cost is $80.00.

INTERPRETING AN RFP - 4 PDH - Course provides an explanation of the various RFP components to help the land surveyor better understand the RFP process.  Case studies are provided to emphasize certain aspects and methods the proposed bidder may use to successfully compete for projects.  Kentucky Administrative Regulations are referenced where applicable.  Course cost is $80.00.

KENTUCKY ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS FOR SURVEYORS - 4 PDH - Course provides an overview of 201 Kentucky Administrative Regulations 18 that apply to land surveying in the state.  It covers a number of topics including licensing, code of conduct, standards of practice, firm permits, field procedures, professional development, mortgage inspections and continuing professional development audits.  Course cost is $80.00.

DEVELOPING A SCOPE OF WORK - 4 PDH - Course reviews the process in determining a scope of work as it relates to a surveying project and various items involved in creating one.  Among the important items are deliverables, a timeline to accoomplish the work, milestones and required reports.  The course also covers the Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR) that apply to land surveying.  Course cost is $80.00.

EARLY LAND TRANSFER - 4 PDH - Course traces land ownership from its earliest to colonial times. It covers the methods used to transfer and document land ownership from ancient time to early America's state land states and federal land states.  Private land acquisition became                    possible through various methods including the headright system, bounty warrants, grants and patents.  The opportunity for the individual to own land provided the impetus for thousands upon thousands of immigrants to seek and settle the vast American landscape.  Course cost is $80.00.

ESTATE PLANNING 101 - 4 PDH -Course covers the basics of estate planning and provides a number of strategies to assist the land surveyor in the preparation of an estate plan.  Among the topics covered are how wills work and why one is needed, benefits of living trusts, guardianship of minor children, how to avoid probate, retirement savings plans, health care directives, powers of attorney and incapacity, estate taxes and business succession planning.  Course cost is $80.00.

HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL CONTROL SURVEYS - 4 PDH - Course provides an overview of horizontal and vertical control surveys.  It describes their purpose, how they are conducted and accuracy standards that apply. It also covers applicable sections of Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) and Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR).  Course cost is $80.00.

SEQUENTIAL CONVEYANCE SURVEYS - 4 PDH -Course reviews principles and practices related to locating property boundaries created by sequential conveyances.  Several sections of 201 Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR) 18:150 and Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) are referenced to emphasize the importance of accurately locating the boundaries when a sequential conveyance is involved.  Example situations are presented as case studies to emphasize various sequential conveyance principles.  Course cost is $80.00.

SKIP LEVEL MEETINGS - 4 PDH - Course provides a strategy for senior leaders to use in skip-level meetings to benefit the land surveying company management and employees.  The course describes how the meetings can be conducted in person or by using virtual methods.  In additon, a listing of things not to do in the meetings is convered to achieve their maximum effectiveness.  Insights gained from the meetings can be used to improve company leadership and boost employee retention and productivity.  Course cost is $80.00.

UTILITY SURVEYS - 4 PDH - Course reviews situations a surveyor may encounter when dealing with utilities.  This includes locating existing utilities, staking out proposed utilities and locating and creating easements for utilities.  Course cost is $80.00.
