TENNESSEE CODE OF CONDUCT/MINIMUM STANDARDS - 4 PDH - This course reviews the Rules of Professional Conduct (Chapter 0820-4) and the Standards of Practice (Chapter 0820-03) for Tennessee land surveyors.  Course cost is $80.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

ESTABLISHING THE KY - TN BORDER - 2 PDH - The purpose of this course is to retrace the steps of over 130 years of surveying that led to the determination and monumentation of the common state boundary line of Kentucky and Tennessee.  Over this time there were a number of surveyors and survey teams who interacted with state legislatures and the courts in seeking a final resolution to establishing the Kentucky - Tennessee border.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

UNDERGROUND SURVEYING - 2 PDH - This course provides an overview of the necessary steps to perform subsurface or underground mining and quarrying surveying and mapping.  It addresses the required Mine Safety and Health Administration training, procedures and regulations including the surveyor's personal protection equipment and clothing.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

STAFF MANAGEMENT - 2 PDH - This course describes the components of a successful company employee management system.  It covers employee engagement, motivation, discipline, development, retention and important legal considerations.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

PREPARING FOR AN IRS AUDIT - 2 PDH - The course provides a review of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audit process.  It details the individual taxpayer's and the business taxpayer's responsibilities and rights with respect to a tax return audit and interview.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING - 2 PDH - The course focus is on construction surveying requiring a licensed land surveyor (construction staking from property lines) and compares it to construction surveying from control points independent of property lines.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors. 

IMPROVING WORK PERFORMANCE - 4 PDH - This course covers several strategies and tips to assist the professional in developing and enhancing the effective and better use of his/her time leading to improved work performance on those tasks that contribute to achieving an individual’s and/or an organization’s objectives and goals.  It also covers the important topic of work-life balance. Course cost is $80.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.  

INSURANCE 101 - 2 PDH - This course covers the basic concepts of property-casualty insurance and its application with respect to individual and business policyholders.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

FORENSIC SURVEYING - 2 PDH - This course presents an introduction to the unique field of forensic surveying and covers other related fields such as document examination, title examination and other aspects of property law.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

LEWIS AND CLARK - 2 PDH - The course retraces the steps of the Lewis and Clark expedition, called the "Corps of Discovery," its impact on western expansion of America, and surveying's role in the journey.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

RETRACEMENT SURVEYS - 2 PDH - This course covers the procedures and methods involved in the retracement of property surveys. Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYS - 2 PDH - The course reviews the purposes and procedures involved in surveying a body of water to include the generation of navigation maps and to determine quantities of deposited settlement.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

PARKING LOT LAYOUT GUIDELINES - 2 PDH - The course reviews guidelines for parking lot layouts and covers issues such as dimensioning, turning radii and geometrics. Course cost is $40.00. Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.  

WETLANDS DELINEATION - 2 PDH - This course reviews issues relating to wetlands and the role surveying plays in mapping and identifying these areas.  Course cost is $40.00. Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors. 

LAND PATENTS - 2 PDH - The course reviews U.S. land acquisition and ownership, land grants (patents), bounty warrants and the complex history of Tennessee land patents.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

FLOOD PLAIN SURVEYING- 2 PDH - The course reviews issues involved in surveying in flood plains, including permitting.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

SURVEYING CONTRACTS - 2 PDH - This course reviews guidelines to assist the surveyor in understanding, drafting and executing contracts.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

PUBLIC LANDS SURVEY SYSTEM - 2 PDH - The course reviews the history of the Public Lands Survey System, how early surveys were conducted and how lost corners are restored. Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

GPS SURVEYS - 2 PDH - This course provides basic information on Global Positioning Systems and how GPS is effectively used to conduct various types of field surveys.  Course cost is $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

EASEMENTS - 2 PDH - This course covers the various types of easements and reviews general guidelines pertaining to them. Course cost is $40.00. Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

SURVEYING FOR DRAINAGE STUDIES AND ELEVATION CERTIFICATES - 2 PDH -The course reviews surveying data required for drainage studies and elevation certificates.  Course cost is $40.00. Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.

FIELD MANAGEMENT PRACTICES - 2 PDH - This course covers acceptable methods to perform field work and state and federal safety regulations.  Course cost $40.00.  Pre-approved in Tennessee for land surveyors.
